Homeschool groups love Neo Art School because we offer one-time or ongoing art classes, by appointment, at our fully equipped Wallingford art school. Classes can be tailored in length and content according to the group's educational goals. Popular curricula include clay, drawing, painting, collage, recycle art, fabric arts, printmaking and applied art.
We welcome parents to observe our homeschool classes. Additionally, we love to arrange parent/child classes where the parent also does art; this fosters shared creativity and family bonding. We also do classes for the parents of a homeschoolers to teach curriculum ideas and approaches to fostering your children's self-expression. Our classes can help energize the teaching that you do at home.
Neo Art School is situated in a lovely Meridian Park, which many groups visit before or after their class. The park has a playground, children's garden and Tilth's demonstration garden & greenhouse. View photos of the surroundings.
The cost is $12/hour per child, with a minimum of 12 children per class for at least one hour. Clay projects can be arranged for an extra fee; we do have our own kiln. All other art supplies are included in the fee. For smaller groups, please call for a quote.
Neo Art School schedules classes for homeschool groups on Mondays and/or Fridays between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm. We can accommodate children ages 6 and up.
